EBC InSource Management was created by identifying a market opportunity overlooked by other service providers.  There is an emerging market of conventional office space users that want more than mere leased space.  This market is looking for telecommunications services, overflow administrative staff, conference rooms as needed, video conferencing and many other administrative functions – offered at a price and convenience level that will reduce overhead and improve the efficiency of daily functions.

Few building owners have addressed this market and fewer still have done so in a manner that produces income for the property.  For instance, telecommunications, which has the greatest income potential, is in many cases just not available for properties under 200,000 square feet, leaving clients to deal with a variety of single service providers.  To answer this need, EBC InSource Management services are designed for commercial office properties’ clients’ special needs.

Corporate space users are now becoming very creative about reducing their space costs.  Hoteling, cocooning and virtual office approaches are just a few of the concepts that are being tried and tested by companies throughout the country.  How effective these concepts are and how widespread they will become is not yet known.  EBC’s InSource Management service represents the first opportunity for building owners to take an active role in developing service-oriented properties that offer potential tenants a new way to lease space – and more.  A modern, premier office building with on-site services and a proactive management team will attract a special market niche and produce income to the property owner that until now has not been realized.

For many years, building owners have relied on experienced Building Management firms to manage their properties, and professional Brokerage firms for leasing.  Societal changes, new technology and advanced communication platforms now require that a third tier of management be added to the properties.
